THE RAIL BIRDS
Road-living and Road Loving, the Rail Birds bring old-time Country grace and Silky torch-songs wrung from the Canadiana Songbook and filtered through Campfire light and Train Yard bliss. They've seen every province and territory and have a tale to tell and a song to sing. Charming and full of joy, the tight harmonies of The Rail Birds will put a smile on your face and skip in your step.
Formed in 2018, Onalea Gilbertson and Bruce Horak combined to travel the Rails and entertain their fellow passengers. They've honed their sound around campfires and back-kitchens from one end of Canada to the other. As a part of their travels they enjoyed a premiere performance at Rockwood music hall in New York City in July 2018.
